Cement and Ready Mix Plants
South Valley Cement Company’s main production line is located in the Beni Suef Industrial Zone, in Middle Egypt, approximately 130 km south of Cairo.
The plant began production with the completion of Phase I of its construction in June 2008. Its operations include milling clinker and bagging cement. Phase II of the project will be completed in the second half of 2009, when it will also begin to produce clinker – at a maximum annual capacity of 1.5 million tons – for both Egyptian and international markets.
SVCC is currently in the process of establishing Seven Ready Mix Stations in Six strategic industry hot spots around Egypt yielding a production capacity of (640 m3/h) distributed over Beni Suef, Borg El Arab, Sadat City, Madinaty , Suez Gulf and Sharm El Sheikh.
Currently Beni Suef and Madinty stations are running, Sadat City and Sharm El Sheikh Stations will be running by the year end 2008, and the remaining stations will be operational during the first quarter of 2009.
